摘要
当行动节点(MH)发出和地理位置有关的范
围查询(RQ)请求时,基地台(BS)必须追踪MH当
时 的座标位置,才能求出正确的答案.然而BS
服务大量的MH,BS有限的系统资源将因大量
RQ计算而被逐渐消耗,造成整体服务效能降
低.如今,新的无线通讯技术:MANET让MH
不需要透过BS即可以互相分享资料.本文目的
为利用MANET机制,提出行动节点协同快取分
享方法(MCC),让MH间彼此合作,分享其先前
快取过的RQ结果,减少BS所要处理的RQ数或
者缩小RQ范围,降低BS重覆计算的负担,提
升BS整体服务效能.另外,本文亦根据快取资
料的利用率,存取率及更新率,改善MCC快取
置换的效能.模拟实验结果证实透过MCC可以
明显的减少MH向BS发出的RQ数,降低BS
负担,提升BS整体效能.

Abstract
When numerous mobile hosts (MHs) issue
range queries to the base stations (BSs) at the same
time, the BSs must consume numerous resources to
calculate those queries and that will abate the
performances of the BSs. If these query results can
be reused, the BSs will avoid calculating these
queries repeatedly. In this paper, we propose a
Mobile-host Cooperative Caching (MCC) to
improve the service performances of the BSs. MHs
can avoid issuing new queries or can narrow the
query range by utilizing the results of nearby MHs.
Consequently, BSs can reduce the loads for
calculating these queries and that will improve the
service performance. We also propose a cache
replacement approach to improve the cache
performance of MCC. The experiment results show
that the MCC can effectively reduce the query
requests and the loads of the BS.

无线通讯科技技术的快速成长及基地台的
广泛架设,使得人们可以随时随地透过行动通讯
装置,例如手机,个人数位助理,笔记型电脑…

等,传送以及接收资讯.近年来,行动通讯装置
其行动计算能力,储存空间大幅提升以及多功能
的用途,再加上价格趋近於平价,为一般大众能
力所及,於是行动通讯装置已经普及成为个人随
身的配备.因此许多相关的个人通讯服务(PCS)
应用也竞相推出,包括了全球定位系统(GPS),
